Planning for a Wedding

There is a good long list of things to do when its time for your wedding. There are many questions to ask and decision to make. Some of them are relating the making of the use of the services of the party entertainment and the hiring of a wedding disc jockey.

The Event

There are usually two main events in the wedding day first being the wedding ceremony and the second is reception. As it is a somber and yet very festive event there is a interconnecting theme going in between the two. The music should reflect the happiness and the sharing of the two souls. The friends and family present should also be kept in mind while making such a choice. It is a joyous occasion the music should reflect that. In the similar way the choice of music should help celebrate the uniqueness of this union.

The Wedding Bells

One question could be. “What kind of music entertainment do we want for the wedding and how do we go about deciding for it?” The following article could help you decide in this matter

The solution of this could be found with the help of the help of the wedding professional service which you are opting. Each of them has a creative approach to this. But the real choice should be yours so you will have the understanding and the choice of the message and atmosphere which you like to create. Should it be low key, quite, off-beat, or festive or some what between. There is a choice of recorded music or live music. There is also trend of the live acoustic music for the ceremony and recorded music for the reception. One answer could be the making of the use of the services of the party entertainment and the hiring of disc jockey for the wedding.

Choice of Music

Following are few choices for wedding music entertainment:

Acoustic music: Acoustic Music means unplugged music. There are pianos, guitars and vocalist or combination thereof. This sounds very romantic and old fashioned

Recorded Music: The recorded music will be in form of the disc-jockey. DJs are a good and affordable choice as they know most of the music that every one likes. They have the list of music and they arrange accordingly. As they are attending a lot of the same kind of functions they have a good idea how to make the event memorable. And this is one good reason to rightfully think that with right experience they can be used as a good reception coordinator.

Dance bands – Dance Bands are another choice. These are great if you can hire the suitable one which will be liking to all of your guests. They not only play music but they make the whole dance and event alive. There is however a downside to the live music that with the band has to take frequent breaks and this may break the momentum of a good party. .

Must Do List

The final thing about the choice of wedding music choice is that, there should be a list of things which you should discuss clearly and compliance with the professionals whom you are putting the musical responsibility of the special day. For example you should be clear about:

Type of atmosphere of music.

The type of background music.

The dances that are going to be performed.

Where to find a good Disk-Jockey

Music is not the heaviest purchase of the wedding day. So trying to find a good and quality performer could be well worth the price. To find a good DJ you could visit him in action if time is there. As action speaks louder then words. Search of good DJ to perform can be helped by the friends. Some one they know or had attended party of could be the right answer for the choice of the day.

Where to find a good Disk-Jockey?

Friends & Family

Other good weddings

Internet

Yellow Pages & Directories. Not only in your area. A surrounding city could have the answer to your search.

Here you will have much of the local talent right at your finger-tips. Yellow page directories are a good follow-up to all of the above. Make sure you check directories from surrounding communities; many venders are willing to travel. Finally, I would suggest surfing the Internet

The Start

The Tango Dance as we know now started from the low income districts of the Argentine City of Buenos Aires. Its mix of many dances namely following
“Flamenco”, the Spanish Dance.
“Tangano”, the African slave dance.

Buenos Aires

In the late 19th Century, City of Buenos Aires was full of European immigrants and African slaves. This intermixing of traditions and culture was very interesting. The result was not European or African but something unique. Tango is one of many dances that came out of this fusion. With its romantic appeal, Tango moved from the slums to the upper classes very easily.

In the early years of 20th Century, Tango dancers and orchestras grew very popular and they started touring. These theaters used to carry with them the talent of the great music and dance. Paris came first, They saw the enchanting music and fell in love with it. The next stop London after this Finland and Berlin came next. Tango reached USA around 1911. at each stop there were some acceptance, and some changes for example, in USA they started to make the music little faster. Similarly French Changed the central position of Leg movements by the head and torso moves.

Tango come in and out of fashion many time. In the start of the 1900s it was very popular dance. Companies were made performing around the various capitals. Dancers and performers were very much appriciated.
The Great Depression changed many things In Argentina, the onset of it many restrictions introduced. The Arts were sacrificed in for the economics. The culture was just not in the popular budget item. This lead to the overthrow of the Hipólito Yrigoyen government in 1930 caused Tango to decline.
the Depression receded in the 40s, There was start of interest in the national pride and culture was one point in this. As a result tango again became enormusly popular, and a matter of national pride under the government of Juan Perón.
Tango lost its place again in the 1950s with economic depression and as the military dictatorships banned public meetings of any kind, after this there was the period which saw the emergance of Rock and Roll and Disco.

Government patronage might not have always been there. But Tango lived on as the vibrant and exciting dance.

On the Stage

Tango lived on in smaller venues until, In 1983 in Paris the show Tango Argentino was conceived by Claudio Segovia & Hector Orezzoli. This show made a history and celebration for Tango worldwide, Such was the fame and appeal of the show that people all over the world started learning tango.
In 1990, dancers Miguel Angel Zotto and Milena Plebs created the “Tango X 2″ Company , This was focused to Tango. They created shows that were innovative. And interest was generated to the tango for the young. This placed the tango as central point in their producations. Since then there have been a lot of shows touring around the world, such as Broadway Musicals Tango Argentino & Forever Tango, Tango X 2, and Tango Pasion among others
